Since starting Unity Web Agency in 2016, I’ve made sure that my business is always been used as a force for good.
Good for our economy. Good for our environment. Good for our clients. Good for our employees.
It’s why I love it so much, and after nearly five years working here (one of which includes an out-of-control pandemic), I still wake up happy, motivated, and inspired by our work.
Creating accessible, functional, and beautiful websites has been my way of using business as a force for good, and it’s been satisfying to meet and chat with people that are impacted by these websites.
It’s also why I wanted Unity to become B Corp Certified. I wanted to make sure Unity was surrounding itself with like-minded professionals, and there was always something new to learn from these other business leaders.
One of the things I learned, along with Roundpeg and Oliver Russell CEO’s — Polina Pinchevsky and Russ Stoddard — is just how difficult it can be to keep track of the data on the impact your business is making.
This is especially true when it comes to smaller businesses, some of which simply might not have the time, resources, and manpower to gather your impact data and spruce it up in a manner that is shareable to your audience.
The result? Inaccurate reports on the work you’re doing, the impact it’s creating, and an inability for your peers, stakeholders, and clients to understand your work.
Polina, Russ, and I got together to solve this frustrating problem, and we’ve come up with a solution I think you’ll like:
It’s called Unit Co., and it’s an impact reporting tool that’s going to redefine how you gather impact data and share it with the world.
Created by three B Corporation CEOs who understand the problems that can arise from being a socially-responsible, mission-driven business, Unit Co. helps make data collection easier and reporting more efficient.
Not only will you better understand the impact your business is making, but it’ll also make telling the story of your impact that more compelling and engaging.
And the best part of all this?
It comes out this spring!
Yep, we’ll be revealing Unit Co. to the entire world by then. But since you’ve followed us for a while now, we figured now would be a great time to loop you in first.
We can’t wait to tell you more about how Unit Co. will make impact reporting easier, and you can find out more by following us in LinkedIn and at @UnitofImpact on Twitter and Instagram.
Oh, and if you want to be one of the first to know when Unit Co. officially launches, you can subscribe to our newsletter.
We might even provide some freebies, insight, and early-bird pricing. 😉
We can’t wait to show you more.
